FOUNDER & PRESIDENT: Candace Clemens

Candace Clemens has more than fifteen years of high tech and international marketing and communications experience. During this lengthy tenure in High Tech marketing, Candace developed and executed many innovative communications and marketing initiatives that helped keep publicly held software companies profitable and growing while competitors suffered through several economic downturns. Prior to starting walnut28 communications, Candace served as vice president of Corporate Communications at a controversial internet startup and, before that, as director of Corporate Communications at Progress Software Corporation. Candace held a variety of marketing and communications positions at Lotus Development Corporation and Interleaf.

Candace holds a bachelor's degree in art and literature from The George Washington University and has completed post-graduate studies in business and communications at Harvard Extension School.  

Candace also is an Olympic level equestrian -- rider, trainer and published author, with a Horsemasters Certificate from Morven Park International Equestrian Institute, and rider medals from the United States Dressage Federation.
